Services begin with a one hour on-site consultation. This gives the opportunity to get a feel for the garden, listen to what a client requests and to exchange design options. A landscape plan is drawn to scale showing existing and proposed features, surface materials, walls, steps, fencing and planting. This is presented to the client with an estimate of the cost of installation and an option of staging the works if desired.

If a client wishes to carry out the work themselves, a schedule of works and a planting plan is prepared to suit individual needs. Otherwise reputable landscape contractors will be invited to submit an itemised quote for construction of the design.

FEES

• A one hour consultation costs $180.00.
• Preparation of a landscape plan is given as a fixed fee and determined on a case by case basis.
• Additional services such as detailed design development, coordinating with contractors and overseeing works under construction are charged on an hourly rate of $150.00.
